The Topçu Family’s commercial journey began in 1920, when Ali Reis Topçu started selling wholesale food and weighbridge products in Rize. In the following years, the company expanded into construction materials, hardware, glass, and electrical supplies, before diversifying into rubber shoe manufacturing with the establishment of the Topçu Rubber Factory in 1957.
In 1960, the Mehmet-Yaşar Topçu and Brothers Collective Company was founded in Istanbul. It was renamed Topçular Hırdavat Pazarlama ve Yatırım A.Ş. in 1977 and has been operating in Tahtakale, Istanbul, ever since. From the 2000s onward, accelerated production, investment, and employment transformed the company into Topçular Industrial Production and Investment A.Ş. With the fourth generation of the family now involved, the company has placed stronger emphasis on branding and international markets.
Reis Makina A.Ş. was established in Karaköy, Istanbul, in 1981 and has been operating in Sancaktepe, Istanbul, since 2005. In 1985, the company entered into a Turkish distributorship partnership with Knipex Tools, a leading German hand tool manufacturer—a partnership that continues today. In 1992, a distributorship agreement was signed with Makita Corporation, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electric and cordless power tools. Reis Makina A.Ş. is the sole authorized distributor in Turkey responsible for the sales and after-sales service of electric and cordless power tools, gardening equipment, industrial cleaning machines, measuring instruments, and machine accessories. With the strengthening of its dealership infrastructure, Reis Makina introduced structured sales and service models under the brands: Reis Shop, Reis Dealer, Reis Specialist Dealer, Reis Service, and authorized service centers. Over time, its product portfolio has expanded to include Turkish distributorships of global brands such as Proxxon, Lavor, Virax, Gison, BMI, Bea, and Exena.
Founded in 1997 with a focus on foreign trade, Mar İç ve Dış Tic. A.Ş. was restructured in 2020 to concentrate on technology and software, operating under its new name Mar Teknoloji Hizmetleri Üretim ve Yatırım A.Ş.
Topçular Industrial Production and Investment Inc., which commenced production in 2017, manufactures diesel generators and power systems under the Full brand, as well as band saws under the Ozco brand. Reis Makina Inc. continues its manufacturing activities with pallet trucks and stackers under the Biglift brand and tillers under the Factor brand.
In 2024, a new production facility in Samsun was added to the company’s existing 30,000 m² facilities in Istanbul and Konya. That same year, desktop CNC milling machines began production under Revo Industrial Machinery Technologies Inc.
As of 2020, with a strong sense of historical responsibility and national consciousness, all services were consolidated under Topçu Holding A.Ş.
By 2025, the company has grown to operate approximately 2,000 domestic sales and after-sales service points, serving the entire country with nearly 100,000 product varieties across the following categories:
